A Czech international in the outside hitter role, Eva Svobodova was born on May 6, 1997 and is listed at 181 cm. She was included in the senior player group for the 2026 Volleyball Nations League. Svobodova has combined Czech senior-team involvement with club experience abroad, including a move into the Italian league environment.
Outside hitter is one of volleyball’s broadest two-phase assignments, combining left-side attacking with serve reception and back-row defense. The role can also include back-row attacking, so a player may move from first contact into a scoring action within the same rotation. Listed at 181 cm, Eva Svobodova brings that frame to a role that extends across both front-row and back-row rotations.
A national-team season differs from club volleyball because the training window is shorter and role definitions can shift according to opponent and roster availability. Her presence in the 2026 national-team picture adds another dated marker to an already experienced senior career. Her place with Czechia Women’s National Volleyball Team in 2026 confirms senior international experience without reducing the rest of her career to one event. For Eva Svobodova, that national-team record sits alongside the longer club career rather than replacing it. The international season places a premium on quick adjustment, since teams can face several contrasting opponents within a short window and have less training time than during the club year.
