Yeon-Gyeon Kim is a South Korean libero whose career has been built around serve reception, floor defense and the organization of the back court. She has spent years in the Korean V-League, where the libero position places a premium on consistency against both domestic and foreign power servers.
Kim has remained a long-term member of Hyundai E&C Hillstate and has also been part of South Korea’s senior national-team system. Her contribution is measured less by points than by the quality of first contact and defensive stability she provides behind the block.
