Aleksandar Atanasijević is a Serbian opposite whose power and high-volume scoring made him one of the national team’s leading attackers for more than a decade. He helped Serbia win European Championship titles in 2011 and 2019 and became closely associated with decisive right-side offense at both club and international level.
His professional career has included major spells with Skra Bełchatów and Sir Safety Perugia as well as later seasons in China, Greece and other leagues. Atanasijević remained active at club level into the 2026–27 season after stepping away from regular senior national-team duty.
