Marko Podraščanin is a retired Serbian middle blocker whose longevity and blocking instincts made him one of the defining European players at his position. He helped Serbia win European Championship titles in 2011 and 2019, the 2016 World League and a World Championship bronze medal during a senior international career that lasted well over a decade.
Most of Podraščanin’s club career unfolded in Italy, where he played for Lube, Perugia and Trentino and won domestic, European and world-level trophies. He ended his playing career in June 2026 after a final spell with Cucine Lube Civitanova, closing more than two decades at elite level.
