Hossein Haji Kalateh is an Iranian libero who joined the senior national-team group as a young defensive specialist. His role is built around serve reception, digging and maintaining offensive stability from the back court.
Haji Kalateh received international court time during Iran’s 2026 Volleyball Nations League campaign. At 175 cm, his pathway depends on reading, reaction speed and first-contact quality rather than the front-row physical tools that define Iran’s attackers.
