Osmany Juantorena is a Cuban-born Italian outside hitter whose explosive attacking and jump serve made him one of the defining wing spikers of his generation. After an early international career with Cuba, he later represented Italy and helped the Azzurri win the silver medal at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
His club career has included long, title-rich spells in Italy as well as seasons in Türkiye, Qatar and China. Juantorena won major domestic, European and world club trophies with teams including Trentino and Cucine Lube Civitanova, combining high-volume scoring with the reception responsibilities of a six-rotation outside hitter.
