How the 2023 Edition Was Decided
VakifBank reached the Super Final after overturning their semifinal against Fenerbahce through the second leg and a golden set, then defeated Eczacibasi 3–1 for the European title.
Because CEV did not stage a bronze-medal match in this format, Fenerbahce and Novara are recorded as joint third rather than forcing a single bronze medallist.
Format, Field & Host
The 2023 competition progressed through early rounds, the main pool phase, playoffs, quarterfinals and two-leg semifinals before the one-match Super Final on 20 May in Turin.
