The 2027 FIVB Men’s Volleyball World Cup runs 10–26 September in Poland. The full 32-team field is confirmed; the pool draw is still to be announced.
2027 Men's Tournament Preview
The 2027 FIVB Men’s Volleyball World Cup will be played in Poland from 10–26 September with a complete 32-team field. Poland qualifies as host and Italy as defending champion; the remaining places came through the 2026 continental championships and the FIVB World Ranking.
Matches will be spread across Gdańsk, Katowice, Łódź, Olsztyn and Kraków, with Kraków’s TAURON Arena hosting the semifinals and medal matches. FIVB has not yet announced the Drawing of Lots, so pool assignments will be added when official.

Why This Upcoming Edition Matters
The qualification phase is already complete, which means the only major structural piece still missing is the draw. The field includes established contenders as well as Estonia making its World Cup debut and Denmark returning for only its second appearance since 1966.
Like the women’s edition, the tournament is part of the LA28 pathway. The three highest-finishing teams not already qualified will earn Olympic places, adding another layer of consequence to the knockout rounds.
Confirmed Format, Qualification & Host Information
The 32 teams will be divided into eight pools of four. The top two in each pool advance to a Round of 16, followed by quarterfinals, semifinals, bronze-medal match and final.
Pool assignments have not yet been drawn. Matches will be played in Gdańsk, Katowice, Łódź and Olsztyn before the semifinals and medal matches move to Kraków. The three highest-finishing eligible teams not already qualified will book LA28 berths.
