Anton Semyshev is a Russian outside hitter whose prime club years have been closely associated with Dynamo Moscow. After early Super League periods with Gazprom-Ugra Surgut and Belogorie Belgorod, he joined Dynamo in 2020 and became part of a roster that repeatedly competed for Russia’s major domestic trophies. His role has combined the two central demands of the modern outside position: carrying a meaningful attacking load from the left pin while remaining available in serve reception so that the offense can keep its middle and opposite options active.
Semyshev’s Dynamo tenure has produced a substantial collection of team honors. He was part of Russian championship-winning squads in 2021, 2022 and 2026, and his time in Moscow has also included Russian Cup and Super Cup success as well as the 2021 CEV Cup. Those results place him within one of Dynamo’s strongest recent eras rather than as a short-term roster addition. Internationally, he also has experience with Russia’s senior program and was part of the squad that won the 2019 Volleyball Nations League.
He remains on Dynamo Moscow’s roster for the 2026–27 cycle and is also listed in Russia’s 2026 national-team group. At 29, the current phase of his career is defined less by projection than by continuity: he is an established top-level outside hitter with extensive experience in domestic title races, European competition and senior international volleyball.
