Celeste Plak is a Dutch former international volleyball player who became one of the Netherlands’ most recognizable power attackers. Capable of playing on the wing or as an opposite, she brought unusual physicality and a high-contact attacking style to the national team. Plak represented the Netherlands at the 2016 and 2024 Olympic Games and collected European Championship silver medals in 2015 and 2017.
Her club career included a Champions League title with Novara in 2019 and professional experience across several countries. In July 2026, Plak announced the end of her playing career after more than 400 national-team appearances, closing a long international chapter in which she helped keep the Netherlands competitive across multiple Olympic cycles.
