Dmitry Volkov is a Russian outside hitter who has spent much of his senior career as one of the national team’s most recognizable wing attackers. At 201 cm, he brings a strong serving and attacking presence while still carrying the reception workload required on the left side. His international experience includes major FIVB events and multiple Olympic appearances.
Volkov won Olympic silver with the Russian Olympic Committee team at Tokyo 2020 and remained part of Russia’s senior plans in 2026. At club level he has competed for leading Russian teams, with Dynamo Moscow part of his current domestic context. His combination of experience, serve pressure and high-level attacking makes him a reference player for Russia’s outside-hitter group.
