Flávio Gualberto is a Brazilian middle blocker known for efficient first-tempo attacking and a strong reading presence at the net. After a successful domestic career in Brazil, he established himself in Italy’s SuperLega, one of the most demanding club competitions in the world. His combination of quickness and blocking technique has made him valuable both in club systems and with the Brazilian national team.
Gualberto joined Trentino Volley in 2024 and helped the club win the 2025 Italian championship. In July 2026, Trentino extended his contract through 2028 after two seasons in which he led the team in blocks. The renewal reflected both his statistical production and his importance to the structure of a roster competing for major Italian and European trophies.
