Mohammadnima Bateni is an Iranian middle blocker who entered the senior international picture while still in his teens. At 203 cm, he gives Iran a young first-tempo attacker with the reach needed to develop into a larger blocking role.
Bateni was included in Iran’s 2026 continental competition group after progressing through the country’s younger age levels. His senior career is still at an early stage, so his profile is defined more by development and international exposure than by a long professional record.
