Playing primarily as a libero, Veronika Dostalova is a Czech international born on April 7, 1992 and listed at 170 cm. She was included in the senior player group for the 2026 Volleyball Nations League. Dostalova’s career is defined by the libero role, and her experience includes a sustained spell with PVK Olymp Praha as well as repeated senior national-team involvement.
Back-row stability is the core of the libero position. The player is asked to absorb serve pressure, organize defensive coverage and keep the ball in a form that allows the setter to rebuild the offense. At 170 cm, Veronika Dostalova’s size is simply part of the biographical record; reception quality and defense depend far more on reading, movement and control.
International selection adds another layer to a club career: teammates come from different systems, travel is concentrated and tactical preparation moves quickly. Her presence in the 2026 national-team picture adds another dated marker to an already experienced senior career. For Veronika Dostalova, the 2026 national-team cycle records the level she had reached in senior competition. For Veronika Dostalova, that national-team record sits alongside the longer club career rather than replacing it. Because national-team windows are concentrated, each selection forms a distinct dated milestone in a career that otherwise develops mainly through the longer club calendar.
