The Vietnam Women’s National Volleyball Team represents Vietnam in senior international women’s volleyball under the Volleyball Federation of Vietnam and the Asian Volleyball Confederation. The team has become increasingly competitive in Asian events through a core built around experienced internationals and a growing domestic pipeline. Head coach Nguyễn Tuấn Kiệt continued to lead the program in 2026, supported by a staff that also included strength and conditioning expertise through FIVB Volleyball Empowerment.
Vietnam entered 2026 after a breakthrough period that included a historic first appearance at the 2025 FIVB Women’s World Championship and a program-best fourth-place finish at the 2023 Asian Championship. The team won bronze at the 2026 AVC Women’s Cup and then reached the quarterfinal stage of the 2026 AVC Women’s Continental Championship. Those results reflect a program that has moved beyond regional relevance and is increasingly measuring itself against the leading teams in Asia.
