Wisconsin Women’s Volleyball represents the University of Wisconsin–Madison in the Big Ten Conference. Head coach Kelly Sheffield has led the Badgers since 2013 and established Wisconsin as one of the country’s most consistent late-round NCAA teams. The program is known for elite attendance, physical front-row play and a recruiting model that has produced both national-team athletes and major individual award winners.
Wisconsin won the first NCAA national championship in program history in 2021. Under Sheffield, the Badgers have also reached multiple Final Fours, including appearances in 2013, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2023 and 2025, while repeatedly finishing near the top of the Big Ten. That combination of championship proof and sustained postseason depth has made Wisconsin one of the defining national programs of the last decade.
