Louisville Women’s Volleyball represents the University of Louisville in the Atlantic Coast Conference and has become one of the defining national programs of the 2020s. The Cardinals are led by head coach Dan Meske, who took over the top job in 2025 after serving for years on the staff that helped build Louisville into a championship-level team. The program plays from Louisville, Kentucky, and has developed a strong postseason identity around balanced offense, physical blocking and experienced player development.
Louisville reached the NCAA national championship match in both 2022 and 2024 and was a national semifinalist in 2021. The Cardinals also made multiple regional finals during the same stretch, turning a single breakthrough into sustained national relevance. Even as leadership changed, the competitive standard remained: Louisville expects to contend in the ACC and to advance deep into the NCAA bracket.
