Texas Women’s Volleyball is the NCAA Division I program of the University of Texas at Austin and competes in the Southeastern Conference. The Longhorns are led by longtime head coach Jerritt Elliott, who has been in charge at Texas since 2001. The program combines a national recruiting footprint with an established expectation of competing for conference and NCAA championships rather than simply qualifying for the postseason.
Texas won back-to-back NCAA championships in 2022 and 2023, with the 2023 crown becoming the fifth national title in program history when the earlier AIAW championship is included. The Longhorns’ ability to sustain championship-caliber rosters across changing conferences and player generations has made Texas one of the most visible programs in women’s college volleyball. Their recent titles sit alongside a much longer tradition of national success.
