Türkiye repeated as women’s champion in front of a record home crowd in Istanbul.
Serbia extended its run of women’s EuroVolley medals. Türkiye’s title also secured Europe’s direct women’s qualification place for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics.

Women’s EuroVolley 2026 Format, Qualification & Hosts
Women’s EuroVolley 2026 featured 24 national teams. The teams were divided into four pools of six, with the top four in each pool progressing to the round of 16 and then a single-elimination path to the medals.
The women’s event was hosted across Türkiye, Czechia, Azerbaijan and Sweden, with the medal matches in Istanbul. The champion also earned Europe’s direct women’s Olympic qualification berth for LA 2028.
